The Youth Hostel Association of India is organizing a National Himalayan Winter Trekking Expedition (6 Days Program) in the Dalhousie Region of Western Himalayas from 19th December 2010 to 5th January 2011.

The participation fee for trekking expedition will cover stay in tented/ Guest House Accommodation , simple nutritious vegetarian food, guidance. Equipments and insurance. The participants will, however, bear the to and fro travel expensed from their home town to the base camp and back. The participants will have to deposit the entire amount initially and the financial assistance will be reimbursed after they come back from the expedition and produce the original receipt of payment along with the participation certificate issued by the youth Hostels Association and a report on the expedition, arrangements etc.

Those who are interested in participating in the program mentioned above are advised to fill up the registration form and get it forwarded through their respective welfare officer and deposit Rs. 2400/ (DD Payable to Youth Hostels Association of India Payable at New Delhi ) with the Youth Hostel Association of India, 5 Nayag Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi- 110021. A copy of the application may also be endorsed to the CCSCSB.

Those who have already attended the trekking program during the last two years will not be eligible for financial assistance from the Board. The Youth Hostel Association of India will entertain the eligible employees on first come first serve basis.
