The Inter-Ministry Aquativ Meet will be held on 12th & 13th August 2010 at Pacific Sports Complex, Central School , Opposite G.K-1, Near LSR College , New Delhi.
Image via WikipediaThe Ministries desirous of participating in the inter ministry aquatic meet may send their entries in the perscribed performa circulated duly signed by the welfare officer to the Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board, Lok Nayak Bhavan, New Delhi-110003.
The entry fee will be Rs. 10/- only per head per even and Rs. 50/ for Water Polo and Team Events. The last date of receipt of entries is 06th August 2010.
The meet will be held in the following events -
A) Men

The tournaments shall be held only if the total number of entries for individual events is not less that 50. If entries in any event of this tournament are less that eight, then that event will not be held.

Subject Incentive increments to sportspersons for outstanding sports achievement at National and International levels.
Para 3(iv) of this Department's OM No.16/1/85-Pay-1 dated 16th July, 1985 provides to grant incentive in the form of increments as admissible to such Government servants who achieve excellence in the sporting events of Nationalllnternational importance. The total number of increments to be awarded for achieving excellence in the nationalllnternational events should not exceed five in his/her entire career.
Inviting applicants for convenor for sports organized by cultural and sports board
The central civil service cultural board is the central agency for promotion of cultural and sports activities among the central government employees. This board organize the inter-Ministry tournaments in the sports and cultural decipline.
The board is inviting dedicated volunteers among the central government employees to act as the convenor of various sports and games organized by the cultural and sports board.The board is looking for experienced and committed volunters.
Welfare officers of the ministries and departments are therefore requested to recommend the names of deserving candidates only for taking up the task of convenor.
