Central Government Holiday on Monday, 4th April 2011 ?
Its the time for Celebrations.
Central Government may declare national holiday on Monday 4th April 2011 to celebrate India's victory in ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. If Govt decides to give national holiday , all the central government and state government offices will remain closed on Monday. If the decision is confirmed, we will update the news in our blog. In every other countries, atleast 1 day pubic holiday has been given for celebrations for these kind of achievements. Can we expect that here ? We wil know soon.

Our leader Mamata Banerjee has appealed to the union government through Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee to declare Monday as a national holiday so that whole of India can celebrate this win" . Trinamool Congress and union Minister of State for Shipping Mukul Ray said.
