2. I read in Dainik Jagran that a no. of Gurgaon Pvt Hospitals have been approved for CGHS e.g. Medicity (Medanta), Paras, Artemis, etc. Please confirm.

   I would like to bring to your kind notice that Kailash Hospital & Research Centre Ltd., H-33, Sector 27, NOIDA 201301 is refusing for the treatment of CGHS patients and responds that this hospital is not covered under the CGHS scheme whereas in the list of CGHS authorized hospitals(Available at the site of CGHS) this hospital is shown under CGHS.
   
   Government authorities are hereby requested to confirm whether this hospital is covered under CGHS or not so that Govt. employee may not face hardship at this hospital.It is further requested to issue the strict guidelines to the hospital in question, if it is CGHS authorized, so that it must not refuse the treatment of CGHS authorized patients.

8. It is true that Kailash Hospital & Research Centre Ltd., H-33, Sector 27, NOIDA 201301 refuses to take CGHS authorized patient and there is a position of great turmoil,Unfortunately authorities are turning the blind eyes at this.
   Authorities must clear this issue so that poor government employee may not face hardship.

10. sir i want to know that i an employee in department of post nanauta (saharanpur) can have treatment from above cited cghs hospitas in delhi by taking leave or in any other way because according to my belief i can have treatment on govt exps in local govt hospital only

30. well all centres empanel with cghs sign a mou with cghs to follow rules so they must abide by it now if they dont want to admit cghs patient then why then sign mou with cghs it is because empanelment with cghs forms basis for empanellment with other agencies other agencies empanel you happily if you are empanelled with cghs
    kindly bring to notice of cghs head about non compliance of MOU by cghs empanel hospitals if you keep quiet system wont change ,you act system shall listen to you, if they(empanel hospitals) get out of cghs they loss heavily
    as we say delhi mai haspatal tabhi chalta hai jub cghs mai empanel ho,
    act for your own beneit but first read all the rules and regulation so that you are not claiming something which is not due to you

32. Sir, I wat to treat spinal chord related problem pertains to neurology, and have been refered from bhopal to delhi. Can I go for treatment at either Sir Ganga ram Hospital or Indraprasth Apollo hospital Delhi for the same under CGHS.

David Summers, a 37 year old MS patient from Murfreesboro, Tennessee was a score of 8.0 on the Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS) when he had the Combination Liberation Therapy and Stem Cell Transplantation at CCSVI Clinic in March of 2012. Having been diagnosed in 1996 he had been in a wheelchair for the past decade without any sensation below the waist or use of his legs.
    “It was late 2011 and I didn’t have much future to look forward to” says David. “My MS was getting more progressive and ravaging my body. I was diagnosed as an 8.0 on the EDSS scale; 1 being mild symptoms, 10 being death. There were many new lesions on my optic nerves, in my brain and on my spinal cord. My neurologist just told me: ‘be prepared to deteriorate’. I knew that he was telling me I didn’t have much time left, or at least not much with any quality.” David had previously sought out the liberation therapy in 2010 and had it done in a clinic in Duluth Georgia. “The Interventional Radiologist who did it told me that 50% of all MS patients who have the jugular vein-clearing therapy eventually restenose. I didn’t believe that would happen to me if I could get it done. But I have had MS for 16 years and apparently my veins were pretty twisted up”. Within 90 days, David’s veins had narrowed again, and worse, they were now blocked in even more places than before his procedure.
    “I was so happy after my original procedure in 2010. I immediately lost all of the typical symptoms of MS. The cog fog disappeared, my speech came back, the vision in my right eye improved, I was able to regulate my body temperature again, and some of the sensation in my hands came back. But as much as I wanted to believe I felt something, there was nothing below the waist. I kind of knew that I wouldn’t get anything back in my legs. There was just way too much nerve damage now”. But any improvements felt by David lasted for just a few months.
    After his relapse, David and his family were frustrated but undaunted. They had seen what opening the jugular veins could do to improve him. Because the veins had closed so quickly after his liberation procedure, they considered another clinic that advocated stent implants to keep the veins open, but upon doing their due diligence, they decided it was just too risky. They kept on searching the many CCSVI information sites that were cropping up on the Internet for something that offered more hope. Finding a suitable treatment, especially where there was no known cure for the disease was also a race against time. David was still suffering new attacks and was definitely deteriorating. Then David’s mother Janice began reading some patient blogs about a Clinic that was offering both the liberation therapy and adult autologous stem cell injections in a series of procedures during a hospital stay. “These patients were reporting a ‘full recovery’ of their neurodegenerative deficits” says Janice, “I hadn’t seen anything like that anywhere else”.     I am Central Govt employee serving in CRPF HQR CGO Complex Lodhi Road New Delhi. I am residing in my own house in Rajpur Extn. colony, Chattarpur ND-68. I applied for CGHS card but same was refused by CGHS stating that no such facility is available in that area. It is pertinent to mention that many thousand central Govt. employees serving/retired are residing in Rajpur extn. colony, chattarpur Mehraouli etc . Hence a CGHS dispensory may be opened in Rajpur/chattarpur area so that thousands of central Govt. employees may be benefited. thanking you

Additional Secretary & Director General CGHS held a meeting and directed l Additional Directors CGHS to explore the possibilities of setting up of CGHS Wings in Delhi Government Hospitals.The matter was also discussed in the FEDERATION LEVEL BHAGIDARI meeting held on 7th January 2012 in which Dr M Lall, Additional Director (HQ) was present Inspite directions given there has been no progress. Incidentally I discussed this matter with with Dr N.V.Kamath, Director , Health Services , NCT Government of Delhi. I understand the information asked for by the Director Health Services is still awaited.
    
    East District has more than 1/3rd population and large number of retired Central Government officers are residing in this area in 46 Cooperative Housing Societies , 210 Cooperative Group Housing Societies in Karkardooma, Patpargunj,, Mayur Vihar and Vasundhara.These Societies were developed in 1987 but it is most unfortunate that except mushrooming of private nursing homes and hospitals, there is no Central Government Hospital like AIIMS and DDA being a commercial agency ,the land has been sold to private institutions .
    
    Lt. Governor has has bow directed that a Super Speciality Hospital be established in Karkardooma MRTS zone. The matter has been raised by this Federation in the meeting convened by Minister of Urban Urban Development while discussing MDP 2021 . Thereafter it was raised in the core committee meeting of UTTIPEC,in which both Shri Naseeb Singh Chairman District Development Committee & Member DDA Advisory Board and myself suggested earmarking of land for a Super Speciality Hospital like AIIMS.in Karkardooma MRTS Zone.. This has been approved.
    
    You are requested to :
    (a) Opening of a CGHS Wing in Dr Hedgewar Hospital Karkardooma
    (b) Get land allotted for construction of a Super Speciality Hospital like AIIMS in Karkardooma MRTS Zone.
    (c) As suggested in Bhagidari meeting of 7th January 2012, Eye Specialist to be deputed to Vivek Vihar Dispensary where most of the retired Central Government Officers are the beneficiaries..
