Chief Minister of Manipur Mr O Ibobi Singh said, the Sixth Pay Commission recommendations would be implemented in the state from 2010 and backlogged salary of government employees would also be disbursed from April 13.
He said that the government is aware of the protest by the government employees and added that the Sixth Pay Commission recommendation was delayed as state resources were very low. But after the 13th finance commission awards in 2010 it should be possible to implement the recommendations.

m studying bbm corse still m facing lots of problem in studying due to state govt has not hike the pay commission to the state employee.stil m not given the semester fees also.how can i complete my study if state govt has not increase the pay hike of the employee.nowsadays all the management institute and private institute are incresing all the admission fees and semester fees all the oter state are given the 6th pay commission only the manipur govt are not given,the govt is not taking care about the pillar of manipur if d govt is in my problem wat should he do .so anyway i like to request the state govt plese make it soon to release the 6th pay commission within the month of june this is our demand.
i m kevin singh 4m yaiskul police lane, i completed my B.E in electronics n communication in tamil nadu last yr but i faced a lot of probs due to financial prpbs regarding fees n my own pocket money cause both my parents r state govt employees n they nevr gt their salary on time, n morover its really low compared to other states but i hope after the 6th pay commision everything wil b fine, thank u Mr. cheif minister Ibobi singh, i m grateful for ur service 2 ur people.
