The Model RRs for the post of Upper Division Clerk issued in this Department OM No. AB 14017173107-Estt.(RR) dated 18" December, have been reviewed in the light of 6" CPC recommendations on revision of pay scales, instructions issued by this Department, etc. Accordingly,
the revised Model Recruitment Rules for the same are enclosed as Annexure to this Office Memorandum.
Ministries / Departments may review the existing rules and notify the revised rules conforming to the Model Recruitment Rules. These may also be forwarded to all autonomouslstatutory bodies for adoption. The Ministry of Home Affairs are also requested to forward these Model RRs to the UT Administrations for appropriate action.

pay UDC should be in PB-2 Rs. 9300-34,800/- and grade pay of Rs. 4200/- as his qualification is Graduate. presently proposed pay of Grade Pay of Rs, 2400/- is very low.
If Qualification is Graduate then pay of Grade pay of Rs. 4200/- is genuine.

yes definitely the Grade Pay of all UDC should be 4200 as all Assistants are getting Grade Pay of 4600. There is a huge difference between the grade pay of UDC and Assistant so that UDC must be upgraded from 2400 to 4211 just like Assistant upgraded from 4200 to 4600.
LDC grade pay is 1900, after grant 1st MACP (10 years) LDC will get Rs. 2000( Jump of Rs. 100 only), after 20 years (2nd MACP LDC will get 2400 (jump of Rs.400). It means after 20 years a LDC will get only Rs. 500/-. And evey years, LDC will get annual increment of Rs. around Rs. 500/- so what the fun to get benefit of MACP. Govt. should think.
LDC GRADE PAY BE 2800 & UDC BE A GP OF 4200
The Assistant Grade Pay is Rs.4600/- where as the grade pay of UDC is only Rs.2400/-. There is big difference between the two posts. As UDC is the next below post to Assistant, the Grade pay of UDC should be Rs. 4200. Why there is discrimination. In a office, the nature of work is similar for both the posts. UDCs are taking the same responsible work as the Assistant. Sometimes, UDCs are doing hard jobs than Assts. Then why there is so much disparity. Govt. should think to provide justice to the UDCs.
pharmacist get 42oo grade pay after completion of two years and after 8 years granted 4600 grade pay.It is become merciless and beyond expectation how ldc and udc get.
As we all know that the LDC and UDC play the central role in accountancy and correspondence work of any office. They create drafts and put their suggestion also on the noting. The 1900 Grade pay given to LDC is just a joke on the condition of the clerical cadre. Poor promotional aspects make the condition no better to a hell. Government should think about these poor fellows...
There is a big diffrence between the grade pay of UDC & Assistant. One is getting Rs.2400/ and other is getting Rs.4600 after upgrading from Rs.4200/- and under 2nd MACP UDC is geting Rs.2800/- which is injustice in these posts. As far as responsiblities is concerened UDC is next below the post of assistant and doing a hard job as compared to Assistant. Natuarlly there is big difference between these two posts. The Grade pay of UDC should be Rs. 4200. Why there is discrimination with UDC's. Govt. should remove these anomalies and UDC may also be upgraded.
Sir, the recruitment rules for the post of Lower Division Clerk and Upper Division Clerk revised and LDC qualification is Intermediate (10+2) with Computer Typing in lieu of Matriculation and similarly UDC qualification is Graduation in liue of Intermediate but the Pay Structure not revised i.e. LDC for 1900 Grade Pay and UDC for 2400 Grade pay, so it is therefore requested to pleased revised the grade pay of graduate UDC is PB-2 with grade pay Rs. 4200/-
