Group 'D' posts abolished in Department of Posts - Orders issued

India Post:

Group D posts abolished by Ministry of Communications and Information Technology,  Department of Posts. Now there will be no more group d employees in postal department.

All group d employees will now become group c employees. The work distribution will also change, these new group 'c' employees have to do the works that were done by oher group c employees.
Orders have been issued by Directorate. It will be published in imyideas soon.

Information of the work distribution and orders will follow.

  2. what grade pay will be allowed to such gr.D employees it will be 1800/- or 1900/-. if it is 1800/- then it is simply change of lable extract work without compensating suitably
