There may be provision for LTC in respect of retired Govt. employees as they in service have to bear the responsibilities of the family and could not availed this facility due to one and other reasons and after retirement they have time and wish
to go to piligrims etc. It should be considered their wishes and LTC may also be granted to them.

Can a person posted in his hometown avail of the facility of conversion of home town LTC for travel to visit J&K which is permitted till June 2012?
I declared Kochi for LTC 80. I travelled from delhi to trivendrum via kochi and returned from kochi to delhi.
I do not know whether my claim will bepassed or not. Please clarify if its within rules if I claim onward journey till kochi.
