Rumors on 7th Pay commission recomeendations

With the 7th Central Pay Commission expected to submit its report to the Government next month, rumors on the recommendations have started flowing in.

These are some of the rumors making round.

  • The minimum basic pay will be fixed at Rs.21,000 
  • The Grade Pay System will be removed.
  • The Multiplication Factor for fixation will be 2.86
  • The superannuation criteria will be 33 years in service or the age of 60
  • The Pay scales will be open ended to avoid stagnation in the scales
  • The CCA will be separated into two components as it was in the 5th Pay Commission
  • CGEGIS Insurance Coverage and Monthly premium will be increased
  • Classification of Posts will be Modified

* Please keep in mind that these are just rumors.

  1. where is the increment in 7th CPC? if we add DA the pay automatically becomes mor than 2 times of the present pay, is there any sense in increasing it with muliplying factor of 2.86, the merging of DA is delaid for this purpose, Shame on BJP Govt.

  3. It's not justice 2.86 multiple factor! Present situation is very difficult for CG employees.price Hikes,house rent,petrol prices &children education etc..
