This huge hike is due to a correction in index conversion from 1982 series to 2001 series that delivered a hefty rise of 7 points in July 2009. Next central DA is around 6% in January 2011.

The current price rise demands atleast 10% DA increase every six months. Govt. employees are facing great difficulty in combating the speedy price rise of basic commodities. Please help us

WHEN THERE IS 600% INCREASE IN SALARY FOR PARLIAMENT MEMBERS, I THINK IT IS REASONABLE TO INCREASE THE DA RATE FOR ALL THE EMPLOYEES IN CONSONANCE WITH THE MPs SALARY. LIKE THE MPs AND OTHER MINISTERS, THE OTHER GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES ALSO WILL HAVE TO SURVIVE IN SPITE OF THE UNLIMITED INCREASE IN PRICES. wHEN THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT IN A POSITION TO BRING DOWN THE PRICES FOR EVEN ORDINARY COMMODITIES, THEY HAVE NO OTHER WAY BUT TO RAISE THE DA PERCENTAGE. TEN PERCENT IS NOTHING AS COMPARED TO 600% INCREASE. IT IS THE 10 PERCENT DA INCREASE PEOPLE ALSO SELECT THE 600% INCREASE SALARIES PARLIAMENT MEMBERS.
what will happen for UDC, still in depression nobody is looking about the grade pay of UDC there is only difference of 600 Rs between the grade pay of peon. Is peon is SSC qualified then why the UDCs remain in the PB-1 with them.
i am drawing my defense pension from SBI .when we are getting aerier and present10%hike from July 2010. please let me know!
